The UN General Assembly will vote today on the resolution presented by Cuba against the United States blockade; the overwhelming majority of nations are expected to support the resolution, as has occurred 14 years in a row.
Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque arrived in New York to present to the United Nations General Assembly the resolution called "Necessity to put an end to the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba," reported Prensa Latina.
Just hours before the resolution comes to vote, last minute manoeuvres are taking place, with Australia stepping up as the latest pawn as Washington scrambles to find nations to vote against the Cuban resolution.
